Reading on another Cruising Website this evening it says that Dukes Mound Car Park has been taken over by 'Travellers' - so may be even more reason to be cautious.

Message From Sussex Police

There has been a rise in the number of reported homophobic incidents at Dukes Mound recently. We would ask you to be aware of your safety, look out for each other and let us know about anything you experience, see, or hear.

You can call 0845 60 70 999 to report or 999 in an emergency. We have the best chance of stopping incidents if they are reported straight away. The longer it is left, the less chance we have of identifying those responsible.

To talk informally you can call Nick Antjoule the LGBT Liaison Officer on 07799347114 (Mon-Fri office hours) or email LGBT@sussex.pnn.police.uk If you prefer, you can tell the Terrence Higgins Trust staff on the outreach van and ask them to pass on the information.
