Another of those 'Long Shots' but does anyone know the present day whereabouts of a chap called Charlie Leighton he was active and lived, in the Scottish Borders - circa 1954-I worked with him for a short time when I left school,(NOW!! I'll take a longshot like Ted below.
Used to drink regularly in late 80's in a Dockside Bar near Bristol Docks and the then Bristol Lorry Park with a Trucker from Plymouth area. Ex Service man who had been stationed in S.Yorks at one time.

Reading through all the posts had a strange effect in me! First I found the message touching, some of them sad because of the sense of love or opportunity lost, or memories of so long ago that obviously still burn bright in the person sending the message.

A few years ago I worked in a butchers shop in Laurie Walk and opposite was a T & Coffee spcialist with a bakery attached. Wasn't a shag or anything but I went to The Beacon nr Upholland and Wigan on Thurs night(29th Jan). Guy in a nice light blue/silver car (BMW?) parked up and wound window down a bit.
