Facilities: 3/5 Although this place is big, it's overwhelming given over to the cruise areas whilst the wet areas are comparatively small. The two jacuzzis neighbour each other & are quite small. They are also treated much to aggressively with chlorine making my eyes sting. The steam rooms is pleasant enough as is the sauna.

Staff: */* Although I recall no incidents I was deeply irritated by the membership fee levied in a transient business city. This effectively makes the out of towners one time visit expensive.

Clientele: 4/5 This as close to a London crowd as you will get outside the capital. I encountered lots of younger guys, the full array of ethnicities & internationals in Manchester on business. The atmosphere (Saturday night) was overwhelmingly orientated towards cruising & chit chat was limited. It was quite until past midnight when trade picked up and became packed during the early hours. This is a sex sauna & the beauty queens have predictable attitude.

Overall: 3/5 Size alone doesn't make for a good sauna, I think much more elaborate things could be done (i.e. large single jacuzzi, even bigger steam room) to bring this place up the standards of a major European city & gay epicentre. This isn't located in the gay village & the entrance is a little obscure because it is literally down in the basement.

My one time visit left me cold, for the UK's 2nd city, a major gay destination & the hefty entrance/membership fee I expected a lot more. A major disappointment & I won't be returning here.

Re: sex, pretty boys galore were on offer but I disliked the personality of the one I took to a room so much I abandoned him mid session (& dumb-founded), left the sauna/city & drove home.

why is it only the basement that is 24hrs - surely there is a demand for more late nights beyond 6 or 7 or even 10pm!?!?!?
